Little League began in Hawaii in 1950. This tiny island state has produced
four world champion teams.
This film is a quest to discover why our tiny, isolated islands could produce world-class talented players. Amazement and pride gave way to a desire to understand what it is about Hawaii, our society, and our culture that could create such brilliant and humble youth.
In the West Regional, the Honolulu players didn't display their names on the back of their jerseys, but instead had "WE >ME."
